Mother Teresa's Sayin

I was sortin out my stuff in e com... den i come across e videos tt were made by my grp for last yr IPW (biography of Mother Teresa)... den dere was 1 video which is e saying of Mother Teresa...

Lord, give me an intrument of peace

Where there is hatred,

May I bring love

Where there is offernce,

Forgiveness

Where there is doubt,

Faith

Where there is desperation,

May I bring hope

Where there is sadness,

May I bring joy

Allow me to console,

Rather than to be consoled

To understand,

Rather than to be understood

To love

Rather than to be loved

Because giving is receiving

Because it is in forgiving,

That we are forgiven

It is in dying

That we are born to eternal life.

Taking the Scenic Route make your mouth water

You know what they say - life's a journey, not a destination. That's something you take to heart. Laidback and low-key, you like to take your time and savour each moment. If that means taking the long way to get somewhere, you'll do it, especially if it's packed with plenty of things to see along the way.

You appreciate the simple things in life - from sunsets to skylines to starry nights. You enjoy taking a moment to breathe in all that the world has to offer, even if you have to go a lttle out of your way to do it. So pack up the car and get ready to hit the road!

Chicken Soup for Soul : The Secret of Life

Another story frm Chicken Soup for Soul

The Secret Of Life

As the God was creating the world
he called upon his archangels.
The God asked his archangels to help
him decide where to put the Secret of Life.

"Bury it in the ground, " one angel replied.
"Put it on the bottom of the sea, " said another.
"Hide it in the mountains, " another suggested.

The God replied, "If I see to do any of those
only a few will find the Secret of Life.
The Secret of Life must be accessible to
EVERYONE!"

One angel replied, " I know: put it in each man's heart.
Nobody will think to look there."
"Yes!" said the God. "Within each man's heart"
And so it was -
The SECRET OF LIFE lies within all of us

Chicken Soup for Soul : A Million-Dollar Lesson

read tis story in Chicken Soup for Soul quite sometime ago...

I had flown into Dallas for the sole purpose of callin on one client. Time was of the essence and my plan included a quick turnaround trip from and back to the airport. A spotless cab pulled up. The driver rushed to open the passenger door for me and made sure I was comfortably seated before he closed it. As he got into the driver's seat, he mentioned that the neatly folded Wall Street Journal next to me was for my use. He then showned me several tapes and asked me what type of musice I would enjoy. Well! I looked around to see if I was on Candid Camera. Wouldn't you? I could not believe the service I was receiving. "Obviously you take great prdie in your work," I said to the driver. "You must have a story to tell"

He did. "I used to be in Corporate America," he began. "But i got tired of thinking my best would never be good enough, fast enough, or appreciated enough. I decided to find my niche in life where I could feel proud of being the best i could be. I knew I would never be a rocket scientist, but i love driving cars, being of service, anf feeling like I have done a full da y's work and done it well."

After evaluating his personal asserts, he decided to become a cab driver. "Not just a regular taxi hack," he continued, "but a prefessional cab driver. One thing I know for sure, to be good in my business I could simply just meet the expectations of my passengers. But to be GREAT in my business, I'd have to EXCEED the customer's expectations. I like the sound of being 'great' better than just getting by on 'average' "

Did I tip him big time? You bet. Corporate America's loss is the travelling folks' gain!
