caught e 4pm show... went we gng in tt time... saw ben dey all... pretty surprise... n dey were sittin in e same row as us... we were wonderin if e 3 seats next to us was bought by dem... end up dey sit @ e other side...

order e snacks while buyin e tix... cuz long queue... dun wanna waste time to queue for snack later on... so had dem deliver to us :D


hmmm... enjoy e movie... cuz it's humorous... bt in term of story line... pretty messy... mayb it's like thing happen a bit too fast? suddenly got rich... den sudden poor...

Obituary of Mr. Common Sense

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:

1. Knowing when to come in out of the rain
2. Why the early bird gets the worm
3. Life isn’t always fair
4. Maybe it was my fault after all

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).The health of Common Sense began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 -year- old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer Tylenol, sun lotion or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason.

He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I’m A Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

StageArts Annual Drama Production

Stay back in sch for e whole week due to StageARTs Annual Drama Production... til 10plus everyday...

Was appointed as Stage Manager(SM) for tis event... suppose to be shavien b e SM... while i'm e assistant stage manager (ASM)... bt she gt her church production @ e same day as SA drama production... so she can't make it...

Danny was appointed my ASM... Erny gave a list of name... and ask if I were to make a choice, who would I choose... Of course I choose someone wid the most experience regarding all tis stuff de mah... n tt person is Danny...

rest of e crew is made up of Melvyn (lighting), Zi Xin (sounds), Ranie (backup for lighting n sound), Ignatius (spotlight), Ayyub (backdrop) n Hui En (backstage)... n not forgetting Shavien hu help out durin e rehearsals... n oso Erny... for her guidance for tis production...


On Sat, me n shavien went to get a brief idea of how the production is gng to b... frm 11am til 4+pm... technical run tru... nth much...

On Mon, went for my lesson, before gng for the rehearsal... went to Guardian wid Erny to gif Aisah the bad news... guilty~~ >.<>

On Tues, didn't went for lesson as i have e excuse letter... technical run tru... for lightin n sound... ended @ 10+pm too...

On Wed, full dress rehearsal... me skip lesson agn... cuz of excuse letter... didn't went for project 2 too... miscommunication n stuff... lots of confusion... bt still go pretty smoothly...

On Thurs, full dress rehearsal... mia to go for e extra practice for project 2... bring back the trial for my crew to try on... n oso to promote e exhibition to dem... things didn't really go well... bt manage to clear things up in e end...

On Fri, I mia frm rehearsal to go marketin lect n presentation (til ard 1+pm)... turn up a while to pass ZX e songs for e production as it was upload to my com e previous day... in e middle of the lect, hui en call n say my ASM mia too!! *faint* chiong over to TFA immediately aft lect... den mia agn @ ard 12 to go for presentation... Hui En n Ignatius took over SM n ASM role for e rehearsal...

Dng technical run tru for lighting and sound while the actors n dancers dng make up... and made slight changes for e lighting... Had a photoshoot of TMT for e brochure... Ignatius mia... onli aft we done wid takin e pic den we realise he was slpin @ e corner of e TFA -.-" wake him up n did another shoot... help jessica wid e name of e TMT crew... end up i gif 3 wrong spelling >.<>

Meet bready to pass him e tix... n finally meet his gf... didn't chat wid him cuz need to get into position @ backstage for standby...

Liyana was askin if i'm stress... wen i told her no... she was surprise... cuz she super stress... Hanafif came over n say some encouragement to me n liyana... hold us by e shoulder n shake up... my 1st reaction... erh... can stop shakin? i'm gettin dizzy >.<

my side was pretty empty... cuz every1 was @ Danny side prior to e start of e show... until it's time for standby den my side gt ppl...

The production was a GREAT SUCCESS!!! :) for curtain call, every1 was called out to take a bow... as we enter frm e left wing n exit frm e rite wing... i haf to run all e back tru e dressin rm back to my side... by then... Danny's side was flooded wid ppl... hehe... my side empty sia...

It was fun bein e SM for production... not as hard as i thot it will be... perhaps cuz of e help frm ASM :) n oso cuz of e great ppl i work wid...

n i realise... my crew like to abuse e intercomm -.- chitchat n oso disturb me over e intercomm... thanx a lot ar guys -.- 1st was Danny disturb me by talkin abt supernaturnal stuff... den i tink is ignatius n melvyn talkin crap over e intercomm -.-

quite a few inside jokes made durin e past 1 week... which include ayyub bein taken over by technology... ayyub bein cheap labour... e craps n lobsters... n e kills -.-"

oh... another thing i realise is tt my crew is really crappy n can get pretty annoyin... bt in a gd sense... haha... entertainment :) fun ppl to work wid...

Danny: seem quiet... bt den can get rly annoyin wid all his teasin n stuff... really knowledgeable in lighting n sound...

Ignatius: erh... crappy lar~ keep disturb me over e intercomm... bt great to work wid...

Melvyn: hmm... heard frm ranie he didn't let her do any lightin... cuz he alway on e intercomm w8in for cue... didn't tell her wad to do... nice to chat wid... hmmm i tink he's e most kan jiong among my crew...

Ranie: erh... seem quiet... bt can get veri annoyin... ZiXin share e share view as me :P bt a great junior to work wid :) enjoyed workin wid u :D n thanx a lot for e help :)

Story: 4 boyfriends

Once upon a time there was this girl who had four boyfriends.

She loved the 4th boyfriend the most and adored him with rich robes and treated him to the finest of delicacies. She gave him nothing but the best.

She also loved the 3rd boyfriend very much and was always showing him off to neighboring kingdoms. However, she feared that one day he would leave her for another.

She also loved her 2nd boyfriend. He was her confidant and was always kind,considerate and patient with her. Whenever this girl faced a problem, she could confide in him, and he would help her get through the difficult times.

The girls 1st boyfriend was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining her wealth and kingdom. However, she did not love the first boyfriend. Although he loved her deeply, she hardly took notice of him!

One day, the girl fell ill and she knew her time was short. She thought of her luxurious life and wondered, I now have four boyfriends with me, but when I die, I'll be all alone.'

Thus, she asked the 4th boyfriend, 'I loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?'

'No way!', replied the 4th boyfriend, and he walked away without another word..

His answer cut like a sharp knife right into her heart.

The sad girl then asked the 3rd boyfriend, 'I loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?'

'No!', replied the 3rd boyfriend. 'Life is too good! When you die, I'm going to marry someone else!'

Her heart sank and turned cold.

She then asked the 2nd boyfriend, 'I have always turned to you for help and you've always been there for me.

'I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!', replied the 2nd boyfriend. 'At the very most, I can only walk with you to your grave.'

His answer struck her like a bolt of lightning, and the girl was devastated.

Then a voice called out: 'I'll go with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go..'

The girl looked up, and there was his first boyfriend. He was very skinny as he suffered from malnutrition and neglect.

Greatly grieved, the girl said, 'I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!'

CCA...

A friend once asked me: why bother about joining cca, when i don't even plan to go Uni... To him, it's just a waste of time and effort.

It got me thinking... it really did... make me think about my aim and purpose to join cca...

In Secondary School, we're practically 'forced' to join a cca. No cca? you'll get questioned by the HOD of cca...

But that's not the point. I join because of a certain liking to it. Every cca will have its pros and cons. Uniform group may be tough. But there fun side to it too. I learn to love it, to develop my passion in it, though there were times that i do dislike the activity that was done, like drills.

I learn quite a lot from Girl Guides. Outdoor cooking, drill, planning of major events, camping skills. Not forgetting the fact that I know my besties from GG... The hard time, the fun time... it just make up a large part of my secondary school life. I seriously can't imagine how different my secondary school life would be without GG... It is GG that shape me up, to be who I am now.

And that's why I choose to continue GG as an external cca, despite that it was not consider as an cca in my school. Or maybe I should say, I joined Y.A. (young adult) as the external cca. Yes I have to set aside time. Yes I have to put in more effort. But what I gain are the experiences, something that is priceless. And the sence of acheivement. I guess, that something that is priceless and irreplaceble too...

Perhaps, the time spent in Secondary School cca kinda 'hook' me to cca? It really feel weird without a cca. Like there's no purpose in going to school, other than to get that diploma cert.

I joined an arts related cca, SA. Not the dance or drama, but rather as a backstage crew. A whole new experience. A whole new skill.

Being just 1 of the members in 1 of the 4 departments, it's kinda of scary to work with the whole big family. The first time working with the rest of the family, it really scare me off, especially when I just join not long ago and had only went for 1 event at that point of time. Bt two other big events change my mindset. and now I can't wait to work with the rest of the family again.

Perhaps, it was the recognisation from the seniors in the cca. It feels different when you get remember by a senior and when you don't. It make you feel more like part of the big family. I know, cause in GG, I wasn't really remembered by my seniors, 2 years before me. But for SA, I was remembered by the seniors, the seniors from the committee. not to mention that at the point of time, I didn't even know who is who, much less who is the committee member.

CCA... I joined, not because of the point I get to earn. But because of the experience I get to gain. The friends I get to make.

CCA... it's not a point earning system. It's more than just putting in time and effort for it.

Now let me ask you... Why have you join/joined a cca?
