talks den icebreaker... den lunch... onli den i rmb i didn't keep some notes wid me *smack forehead*... den aft tt is C.S.I.. folowed by telematch...

for C.S.I... didn't manage to complete every station... cuz started late... :( however... our last station b4 gng back to gather... @ entanglement... we gt our most impt clue :D:D bt den wen submit e ans... didn't submit correctly :( bt me n sindy guess is rite~~


the freshies r pretty quiet... kinda expected... cuz i was like tt too durin my FO isn't it? heard frm fellow OGL tt deir own OG stay back to rehearse e skit for 2nd day performance... while another say dey wanna set up cls blog n stuff...

meet up wid OGL n exco in e mornin... bring e freshie to LTS-2 den i went for my cell bio lesson... back wid dem for club talk n lunch... den back to cell bio pract... in short... i wasn't dere most of e time... not even for e MUSTANG skit rehearsal >.<>

I had great time being an OGL... frm LTC, to OGL training, to dry run den to FO... i didn't expect myself to b chosen as 1 of e OGL... much less participatin in FO as an OGL... though i been hopin to b 1 since my own FO... i'm glad i was chosen n given tis chance... grateful tt valene help me out wen my cell bio crash course clash wid FO... wen @ tt time... i have consider givin up OGL...

gd suggestion... cuz tt's where we gt our job :) help dem prepare e carnival game... while i'm away to help wid e admin... to b precise... e mailin list... aft dey were done... syamira, yunshan n christina came over to help wid e letters... while i tried to recall n figure out how to do e format for e envelope thingy... e 3 of dem, esp christina, tried to figure out if e person is a guy or gal... den christina askin... yun shan sit next to her tell her e opp -_-''

anyway... e ppl @ e CC is so grateful for our help :) tt she say... next time need 1 day job can go dere find dem... we had a great time dere too... proof? e pic below :)

Joke: Dynamo liquid soap

A certain rich businessman had a beautiful daughter, who fell in love with a guy who was a cleaner.

When the girl's father came to know about their love, he did not like it at all, and so began to protest about it.

Now it happened that the two lovers decided to leave their homes for a happy future. The girl's father started searching for the two lovers but could not find them.

At last, he accepted their love and asked them to come back home in a local newspaper.Her father said 'If you both come back I will allow you to marry. I accept that you love each other truly.'

So in this way, their love won and they returned home.

The couple went to town to shop for the wedding dress.He was dressed in a white shirt that day. While he was crossing the road to the other side to get some drinks for his fiancee, a car came and hit him and he died on the spot.

The girl lost her senses. It was only after some time that she recovered from her shocked. The funeral and cremation was the very next day as he had died horribly.

Two nights later, the girl's mother had a dream in which she saw an old lady. The old lady asked her mother to wash the blood stains of the guy from her daughter's dress as soon as possible. But her mother ignored the dream.

The next night her father had the same dream, he also ignored it.

Then when the girl had the same dream the next night,she woke up in fear and told her mother about the dream. Her mother asked her to wash the clothes which have blood stains immediately.

She washed the stains but some remained. Next night she again had the same dream she again washed the stains but some still remained.

Next night she again had the same dream and this time the old lady gave her a last warning to wash the blood stain, or else something terrible will happen.

This time the girl tried her best to wash the stains,and the clothes nearly tore, but some stains still remained.

She was very tired.

In the late evening the same day while she was alone at home, someone knocked the door. When she opened the door she saw the same old lady in her dream standing at her door.

She got very scared and fainted.

The old lady woke her up... and gave her a blue object, which shocked the girl. She asked 'What is this...?'

The old lady replied...

Back To Basics - Relative and Absolute Happiness

The fundament goal of anyone is to become happy. There are however, two kinds of happiness. Relative and Absolute.

Relative happiness is what results from acquiring material gain or possessions of fulfilling mundane desires. These are triggered by getting a bonus, winning a lottery, doing well in school examinations or even finding out that a guy or girl you have a crush on actually likes you back.

But relative happiness depends on external circumstances beyond our immediate control and can be easily jeopardized. Moreover, human desires are limitless. We will always desire for more and more endlessly. Just happiness are temporarily when a desire is fulfilled and do not last very long.

Absolute happiness, on the other hand, is a state of life in which people continue to experience joy in living and creating the greatest value in their lives. This happened when we developed an indomitable character that never gives up trying and is fearless. It is unconditional.

As long as we are alive, we will encounter various hardships be it financial problems, health problems, or relationship problems. For those who have established the life condition of absolute happiness, however, life’s vicissitudes become opportunities to develop inner strength and to experience profound fulfillment every day.

Regardless of what happens, people with this kind of spiritual fortitude regard every hardship as a springboard for their further development, and they overcome each challenge with composure. It is analogous to a marathon.

If we are trained to run 1,000 meters everyday, we will have no problem entering a race for 100 meters. But if we only run 100 meters, we will struggle when we run a 1,000 meters race.

For those who have developed the life-force and wisdom to overcome any difficulty, the constant ebb and flow of life are motivation for the creation of value rather than reasons for suffering and despair.

Ultimately, relative happiness, which is dependent on external circumstances, ends at the moment of death.

But the state of absolute happiness, also know as the life-state of Buddhahood, having been firmly established in this lifetime, will remain indestructible transcending even death.

Attaining Buddhahood means to develop such a life-state overflowing with wisdom, courage and compassion.

A n B... our partner for Freshmen Orientation (FO) will b in e same grp... me n js diff grp... so no chance of bein partner for FO... den haf to pair up wid some1 to sell a colour... i was wid Sindy... den home sweet home aft tt...

meet @ 9.30 outside LTQ-1... same thing... officially start @ 10am... had a game call MY GREATEST MOMENT... every1 is crackin deir brain to tink of something to say... if i didn't rmb wrongly... most, if not every1, ask abt achievement... i say something diff... not related to sch or cca... den split to our own grp... as many ppl didn't come... my grp end up havin onli 9 ppl... so some ppl frm grp B came over... play some games...

played e burst e balloon game 1st... den grp A lost... den grp B forfeit us n say tt we haf to serve dem as well as clean up for all e games for e whole day... sheesh... next we play e passin of item games... 1st is usin porky to pass rubberband... my grp won :D next is pass polo wid a toothpick... we won agn :D next is pass potatoe chip for 2 rounds... we won agn :D next haf to pass 5 rounds... n we won agn... Muahaha~~ so as a forfeit... we tell dem we wanna break wadeva contract dey set jus now... next play lappies... every1 in e grp must sit on each other lap @.@ every1 leg cramp aft tt game >.<>.<

lunch break... den sing-along session... discussion of OGL grp name, cheer as well as OGL tee... den into LTQ-1 for talk... tis time abt wad to do as an OGL... brainstorm of prob tt may come up... n oso solution to it... den reveal of secret buddy... somehow... i had suspect a few ppl like marlee as well as varlene... well... my prediction is quite zun... cuz Varlene is my secret buddy...

5. I can actually warm up to ppl during sing-a-long (esp camp songs) sessions!! o.O *i didn't even realise it until my OGL training's secret buddy, Varlene, told me tt's wad she observe of me...*

6. Girl Guides will alway be part of me :) *Once a guides... Forever a guides*

Away @ camp for on thurs n fri... Leadership Training Camp (LTC) to b precise...

LTC is organise by e SCL club. After e camp, 40 campers will b shortlist to go for OGL trainin, in which 36 will qualify as OGL for e freshman orientation 2008... as for e rest they can be games master, facilitators.

1st Day
meet pl @ 9am to haf breakfast in sch... den report @ blk E @ 9.30... register... check out which grp we're in... i'm in Zapotec... oh... e theme for the camp is Tribal... pretty surprise to c dayana @ e camp too... even more surprise tt she's in same grp as me... pl diff grp frm me... n both of us r not in js grp...

1st activity... ice breaker... Angel & Mortal... gt dayana as my mortal... while Teck Boon is my angel... den other games such as Where is my Shoes (dun c e objective of tis game), Blow Wind Blow..... Den haf to build tower... gt 2 award for tt... most creative as well as e tallest... my grp jus aim for e creative... cuz tallest 1 will b harder to get... we won e most creative... cuz e rest r all aiming for tallest :D :D

Den lunch break... hmmm... guess wad... for both days of e camp... lunch is not provided... bt e breakfast for 2nd day... as well as e dinner for both nite are provided. Had lunch wid pl n js @ north canteen...

Then make bandanna and cheer... nicholas (my grp leader) deco e bandanna... den valeria tink of e cheer... nice~ den need to present abt e design of e bandanna as well as our cheer... as we present our cheer... cuz we didn't really practise... den nicholas slower... den did e cheer agn... won e best bandanna... bt score veri badly for cheer >.<

den telematch @ stadium... my grp was e fastest~ yayness!

dinner aft tt... den movie... tink it's MUSTANGS... great movie... it's base on real story... den nite walk aft tt... or rather... nite time amazin race... end wid every1 bein blindfold n haf to dance... i didn't move an inch >.< :p 1 of my grpmate manage to stay till e end... n score our team another 200 point :D

free n easy aft tt... so went to bath... it was ard 12+mn liao... aft bathin... went to e stadium wid js n pl... suppose to b start glazin... bt too cloudy... didn't get to watch those stars :( chattin on e phone wid bread... n pl suggest prank call ben :p funny reaction... cuz he totally stun... haha... chase off frm stadium by ex co @ 2 am... wen to slp...


2nd Day
work up b4 my alarm ring... keep slpin bag... pack up... den chit chat n slack ard until time is up... PT @ stadium... lead by shan feng... did those warm up... n lots of jumpin jack... funny... cuz shan feng challenge us not to count...bt stop @ same time... den e ex co say dey dun wanna hear any no... so some1 jus shout A/B/C/D/E instead of 1/2/3/4/5... wad's more funny is tt gt ppl ask... erh... 10 is wad letter ar?! LOL... den instead of J... e person shout LAST!! den e seniors r sayin... oi... i dun wan hear no leh... den every1 say... no number mah... onli letters :D

den another challenge by e ex co.... to run ard e stadium... within 5 min... bt... must follow a certain route by e senior... 1st go to stop 1... which is 1/4 of e route... den shout HO... den run to e 2nd stop... which is 1/2 of e track... n shout GA... den run another 1/4 of e track n shout SHA... den back to 2nd stop n shout GA... den back to e startin pt and shout WOO... fail the 1st time... den run e whole thing for 3 time... tink run more den 2km liao...

breakfast next... bee hoon~~ wad's missin is chili :(

Amazin race next... didn't complete... left 2 stations... didn't run... walk all e time... pt was badly affected by it :(

had lunch wid pl n js agn @ north canteen... still gt time aft eatin... so slack ard... gt a shock cuz another grp overtake us for e pt system liao... by 100+ point :( we were leadin by 220 points de... den scored ard 300+ points for amazin race... tt grp tt overtake us... score abt 600+ point for e amazin race i guess...

discussion of performance wid another 2 grp... super pathetic... cuz by 3pm... ard 1/2 e campers left liao... n for my grp... left 3 ppl... combined wid another 2 grps... onli gt 11 ppl... anyway... haf a great time discussin abt out skit... love it :D

den leadership workshop... do some personality quiz thingy... i'm an extreme dove...

teared @ e part where he died... quite funny... enjoy it :D:D love e part where lots of CJ7 come out... ooh... n e part where gt e animation to intro abt CJ7... tt nice :D:D

was tellin wy tt mayb soon will find CJ7 soft toys in mini toons or Action City... :p


2) Ah Long Pte Ltd
watch wid sushi gang (missin xj n miao) last fri... aft cell bio paper...

been wantin to watch tis movie since Jack Neo askin for opinion of e movie title in his blog... yes...i read his blog...

hmm... e way tt Mark act and talk in e movie is quite funny... e movie not bad lar... turnin a gang into some carin ppl... e funny part is wen Mark tried to save his pupil's family... den tio beat up by gangsters... who happen to b under his wife!!

my clique keep imitatin Mark's malaysian accent... -_-''


3) L: change the world
watch wid casa, 5th, stealth n ben...

hmm... dey say e story not tt gd... bt to me ok... mayb cuz i nvr watch Death Note bah... e part where he straighten his back is funny... 1st time he did tt... can hear e bone crackin... den e 2nd time he did it... he end up walkin veri weirdly...

e endin is quite crappy leh... i was tellin dem aft credit still gt 1 more scene... sheesh... boring~

i rmb tt L say tis near e end of e movie:

haf to go back to sch... 1st for camp on 6th n 7th... den to make popiah for advisory committee on 18th... den hopefully can b OGL for freshman orientation...

somehow... tis phrase keep poppin up in my mind, ever since i 1st heard it...

1 yr ago... i received my O lvl result... my postin result... gettin prepared to go to a whole new environment... 1 yr later... i'm havin my exams, preparin for holiday... n yr 2...

1 yr ago... we were gd frien in cls... almost inseparable... 1 yr later... it seem like we're back to where we started... as strangers...

1 yr ago... i dun haf any clique... 1 yr later... i sort of belong to 2 clique... 1 wid sp, pl, jade n karina... another known as sushi gang...

1 yr ago... plan to learn jap... few weeks later... decided on german... n plan to take it til i get e cert... bt now... aft 1 yr... i decided to drop it...

1 yr... so much stuff happened... or shld i say... in jus 1/2 yr... too much stuff haf change... cliques @ e start of the yr, may haf break... new cliques form... gd frien get separated... frienship strengthen... couples form... crushes break... ppl droppin out of course...




1 yr ago... we dun even noe each other... mayb... not even 1/2 yr ago... how haf e frienship started? wen haf it started? i noe... it all started frm lpp... the place where i start to meet up wid u guys more... e "fast-pace" life in OT... e golden age as u guys refer it as... e chalet... e outin... peeps joinin OT... peeps MIA frm OT... each n every nick no longer jus a nick... for we haf bcome closer frm e numerous msn conv n meet up... n til wad i did 2day... i doubt i'll go back agn somehow...




b4 july... i lazin my aft sch hr @ home... aft july... workin part time @ guardian... gettin to noe new friends... gettin familiar wid e regular customer... frm a trainee to a pharmacy assistance... the ppl tt i 1st started to work wid... onli left da is still workin...
