Able to use a programme better than the rest, and was being call 'expert' by supervisor

Had an surgery in Sept for my eye condition

When for training for practically the whole day. However, my dearest girls from guides (joey, yan ying & debbie, with Fel as mastermind) came over to NYP to help me celebrate my bday~ Had a surprise celebration by SP, Ms Gan, Jessie & Mei Hui @ Sensory Preparation Rm. Had dinner @ home wid family and dear... And then deardear bought a bag as well as a cake when we went to AMKhub to walk walk...

I'm 20... Out of the '10s' into the '20s'

Movie: Gullivers Travels

Caught Gullivers Travels with deardear at AMKhub

Wasn't really as exciting as I had expected... In fact, got bored pretty soon~

Was kinda interesting that opposite of Lilliput, behind the fog, is actually the Land of Giants! But what I don't understand is how on earth did that little guy manage to find Gulliver soooo quickly =.=

Pretty cool how efficient and pro the Lilliput citizens are... Manage to build the home super fast n nice~ haha



ohhh~ I super duper love the short video before the movie~ The nut-crazy squirrel from Ice Age~ Totally laugh still stomach cramp sia~ *two thumbs up*

Movie: Tron

Caught Tron wid deardear and his friends @ Suntec City Eng Wah...

Dear didn't expect that I would want to watch this movie. Actually, neither did I. Can't remember what was it that make me changed my mind, well, definitely not because it's from Walt Disney!

Totally love this movie. Nice effect, and interesting storyline...

Muahaha~ I understand the storyline better than dear! He thought I couldn't catch it~ but I caught it long before him!


Find it soooo cool that damage to the cells can be 'repaired' just by removing the disk~ If only illness is as easy to cure...

Worth watchin~

Movie: Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part I

Caught Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part I with MinFang, her bf & Fel @ SDC... Redeem the youthphoria tix...

*Two thumbs up!* worth watchin again~ Way better than the previous movie!

Even though there were parts that didn't not go in line with the book, but it was great~


Now I can't wait for the last part to be out! Though sad that the series is ending, but it had been great... Shall collect the whole set and have a HP movie marathon 1 day ^^

Movie: The Next 3 Days

Caught The Next Three Days with MinFang and her friend sometime back...

Amazed how things turn out... But somehow, somewhere in e middle of e movie, I could already guess that the female lead isn't the murderer...

Didn't really enjoy the movie... Too long-winded in a way? Was already bored within 1/2 hr of the movie... *so did the rest*

Being Appreciated and Recognise

Have been in a good mod since last night. Thanks to an ART TRADE with fellow tumblr member.

What is an ART TRADE?
It's a special request between two artist, trading their artwork. Can be anything as long as both are okay. Commonly seen in tumblr is doodles/drawings that are being used for Art Trade.

Had decided to go for the art trade even though I been holding myself back, as I didn't believe my craft skills are up to standard. You won't know until you tried, ain't it?

Ever since I got in the the craft craft since July 2009, making cards for loved ones for birthdays and anniversary have been a norm for me. Appreciation and praise for the effort put in, as well as the unique design for each card.

In a way, soon I wanted those cards to be more than just a simple gift to my loved ones. I wanted to share my cards, reaching out to more than just those around me.

So, I started to post my cards on facebook. And around september/october poly break, I started to set up tumblr as well as devianART just to share my craftwork.

Even though I had done those with the mindset of wanting to reach out to more people, but I didn't really expect that it would work. Thus, every now and then, I'm pleasantly surprised to see notification of appreciation for all these card I had done.

Due to the Art Trade that I done recently, I had reach out to even more people as the fellow tumblr had posted my craftwork in her tumblr. Can you believe 200% increasement for followers?

And this happy feeling, or maybe I can call this as satisfaction, had been in me since last night ever since I saw how many people had liked my card.

I feel appreciated.
I feel recognised.
And it really boost my confidence about my card making.

And all these had to thank everyone out there.

Internet really do wonders ^^

Mails...

I wasn't really into mails... But recent two years, or rather last year to be specific, was the year that I had the most mails ever. And it's all because of one person...

Looking at those mails, even including hand-delivered, bring back memories and trigger thoughts and emotions.

Yet, those had belonged to the past. A past that is practically not possible to bring back at all.

I miss the times when mails were an unexpected surprise from you.

From me.

Somehow, I feel that even if there's someone else who going to send me mails, it would never replace that feeling that I had last year. Because, those memories and emotions that trigger, belong to this certain someone. Someone who had once shared that special fate with me. Someone who shared that special number with me.

Letting Go?

Who's able to really do the above? I know I can't, even though I'm still trying to do so.

Things that happen in my life, especially when it comes to things related to relationships, I'm still unable to let things go, despite how badly that it had gone to.

At times I really wonder, is it really the end? How could it have ended, especially in such a bad way? As if, what we had been before, was just nothing?

Besties, soulmates, sisters, friends... Did all these names/status even meant anything to you before, or just that it no longer matters now?


It's so easy to just remove someone from facebook, msn, contact list... And it seems that it is as easy to remove someone from your life, from your past, as if it had never happen before.

Sorry, but I'm not able to do it. No matter how hurt I had gotten, not mater how upset I get when I sees how things had turn out, I still unable to let things go and move on. Unable to totally remove someone from my facebook, msn nor contact list, much less from my life or past.


I still recalled back on those times. Those times when we hang out. Those endless chat. Those common likings. Doesn't anything remind you of anything?


I told myself to stay out, to not be bother about your life. But times and again, I couldn't stop myself. Times and again, I asked myself, why bother, when I'm longer exists in your life. Why bother, when you no longer regards me?



I may not remember at a certain point of time... But I would never let it go from my mind... When a journey was once shared between us... Have you forgotten the road that we once walk together?

Movie: Takers

Caught Takers with Deardear and his friends @ GV Marina Square...

Had read up about this movie before I decided to join deardear and his friends for the movie... So I kinda know what's going to happen etc in the movie...

Not a bad movie. Glad I had read up, even though it was pretty much a spoiler already... But without it, I think I may be slightly lost about what happening?

Not bad, not bad... Can consider watching

New Camera

Finally got my hands on my own digital camera!!! SAMSUNG ST600!

Bought it with my YOG pay ^^ ~S$550... 1 8gb memory card, 2 battery, 1 tripod, 1 cleaning solution, 1 pouch.

Decided to get this after a super duper long consideration! From Fujifilm, ended up being samsung dual screens... From PL150, become ST550... and now finally ST600!


Goodbye YOG pay after having to replace my lost mp3 and getting this camera...

If my handphone is Samsung as well... I would really be a samsung gal already (quote hidayah!)

Pretty different style from the previous movie that Donnie Yen starring in... This one is kinda serious?

It's a good show though...

Minor Operation

Had a minor operation today to correct the right eye lower lid, two weeks after that operation. Local anesthetic this time round... And having it at the clinic instead...

*Shudders* Thinking back to the surgery at Mt A that day... Terrible experience due to the general anesthetic... Couldn't move at all when the doctor wake me immediately after the surgery to tell me that it went smoothly... Throat was stuck with phlegm... But I couldn't even cough to clear the throat...

The metallic smell that keep on lingering... Each cough causing me to throw up whatever is in my stomach... Even when there isn't any food in it! And due to this, I was stuck in the hospital until evening, even though the surgery was completed in the morning before 11am.

And thanks to that, I'm scare of anesthetic and operation! (as if I wasn't scare in the first place)


Didn't want to go for the minor operation, but mom made me do so. Just a day notice... Or should I say 12hour notice?

So much for there won't be pain when under anesthetic! I could feel where the doctor cut my lid, where he stitch it up! And it's hurt! Imagine a needle going through your skin and out, and that's not all, as it has to pull along the string!


I can't wait for everything to end. ARGH! 1st October removing stitches. I hope he can just removed all the stitches at one go instead of what he done previously! Removing the external ones, wait a week before removing the inner one...

Pissed off... There goes my pay again... Another month of pathetic pay =.=

Fate... is a funny thing

Just like what I had posted on my msn PM:

"Fate is a funny thing... You never know how things would turn out ultimately for you and somebody..."

Fate seems to be telling me, that things are out of our control at times, that situations ain't what we expect it to turn out to be. Things changes, so does humans as well as situations...

A lot of things had changed through this 1+year. Too many on related to relationship, especially some of the closer friendships.

There's a season for everything... There isn't a forever in anything... Especially for friendship... Even the closest friendship would drift apart...

Two incidents had shown me that letting time do its job would be better than to try to make things better. Rather than thinking things could be better by doing something for them and ignore your own feelings. Because, ultimately, they still going to be in their own mindset, thinking how much you are hurting them only.

At least, the distance was close up slightly with the other one. Unexpected, but it was really great chatting with her the other day... Wishing her well, and hopefully one day get to meet up again...

As for the other two... Leave it as such... I'm tired of trying to do something to improve or maintain the situation, when ultimately, the other party just can't be bother nor blame your for the unhappiness etc. Intruder? Spoil your happiness? Fine then, I leave, so stop blaming me when any other problem/unhappiness arise. Because I'm not even there anymore.



At least... I know, who are the friends who are truly there. And that is why I had posted in FB: " I don’t have to look for a true friend because if someone is true to me, they’ll just stay." I not staying for some anymore, because they doesn't even regards me as a friend to them.

An uncle had commented to monitor when I had commented that I'm lucky to have a few true/best friends around, and not just one/two only. Telling me that the truthful one have yet to appear and that's how life is.

But... Mine had appeared. Not just one or two. But a whole group of them. Situations since primary til now, I have seen who are the ones who are truthful, who are the ones who are sincere in the friendships. Even though most of these are peeps that I know online, but it's much more truer than any other friendship that I have.

Even though the longest is only seven years... But I know, there will be more years to come for this and the other relationships...


We shall see, what fate have for us in the future...

Movie: Inception

Caught Inception (FINALLY!) with Deardear @ GV J8 just now...

The concept is really cool. Indeed, after watching, you can't stop thinking about dreams and reality as well as if the ending is a dream or reality.

Dreams within dreams... And the time just extending...

Can you imagine growing old, but when you wake up, you're still your current age?


Definitely a must watch!

It's a good movie. Though not really that scary (caught back by the loud sound effect at times though.) A really touching ghost story...

Sisterhood. Despite how much things had changed, she had choose to stand firm on this friendship with her friend. Protecting her, even after her death.

Movie: Despicable Me (3D)

Watch Despicable Me in 3D with Deardear @ AMKhub last Wednesday~

SUPER DUPER LOVE MINION!!!! KAWAII~ esp e lightstick that 1... haha... hug it, shake it and it light up! :P

definitely worth watching it in 3D... seriously, if I haf the choice, I would even choose to watch it in 4D!!!!

Indeed, time proves everything.

I guess, this time, it truly being proven where I stand inside you. Simple birthday wish show much how you matter to a person.

I couldn't help wondering. Is that what you mean, when you had say 'Friends for life' or even when you use the term 'best friend'


Maybe everything had ended with a silent goodbye back to the meeting that we last had. A goodbye from you, that no one else ever acknowledge.




If that is the case. All the best to your future endeavor.


Trust me, August and September will be the time again to prove that I'm right. Because, it had happened before.



Sad to acknowledge that this is the ending of our journey. Whether each of us had done our part, I believe we know it in our heart. Whether you read this or not, I have no idea.

Birthday 2010 ^^

Had a wonderful 20th birthday...

Thanks to those around me... for the surprise, the celebration, the wishes ^^

Celebrations had started two days before my birthday, on 20th June 2010. A trip to Singapore Science Center (SSC) & Pixar Exhibition was more than what I had expected!

Even though a little monkey (you know who you are!) had let the cat peek out of the bag just to annoy me and get the name of the person who sms-ed her. I wasn't prepare for the surprise that was waiting for me at the corner of SSC McDonald! Being prank right for the start of the day (or should I say months before?) when MH told me that she would be late and told me to wait for them at Jurong East MRT station as they did not know the route to SSC *wonder why did I even believe them when they just went to SSC LAST OCTOBER!!!!*

End up they took cab down to SSC, thus I waited at MRT station for 1/2hr for 'NOTHING' =.= Walk over to SSC to find MH outside Mac waiting for me. She had waved to me and thought I saw her, but I didn't!! Not until she called me. She told me SH went to the gents, when in actual fact, he went to hunt for candle or was it lighter? Then called and make sure they ready before we went in. I thought we waited outside because Mac too many people, but it was rather empty inside =.= Only the front part of Mac look packed

Went in and the first thing person I saw was CASA!!! And on the table was HOTCAKES DECORATED WITH M&Ms AND A CANDLE ON IT!!!! Though someone had kind of leak a little that there's something planned for me, I never expect it to be right in the morning!


So birthday song can blowing of candle... Then off to get the proper breakfast! While eating breakfast, it was story telling from MH, SH and Casa ^^

Retrieve our tickets while waiting for Gabriel... Only then I realise, they planned it months ago! Casa had long confirmed his attendance with MH!!! And they made Casa bluff me that he can't confirm until nearer date =.=

Enjoyed both the Pixar Exhibition as well as visit to SSC. New exhibitions added! Me and MH were like teachers bringing students out for excursion :P The guys are more engross in the exhibition than me and MH... Especially at Mind's Eye. Rant mode on: they don't believe when I explain the exhibition to them *pouts*

While the guys were engross with the exhibition, me and MH were getting bored and tired. We were waiting for them to move on to the Sound exhibition. It's new, thus wanting to try out. Then MH received a call to say that her "mom" rushing her to go down to meet them.

Leave SSC and walk into another surprise! In order for me not to spot the surprise, MH chiong to Mac, while SH distract me by nearing getting himself into wet spot. Haha... He say he wanna try to chiong into the water feature! And MH dare him to do so~ To the point he said out to himself if he really need to take off his shoe to do it. Later on he told us, he was quite worry that if I still didn't see the surprise, he really need to take out his handphone and pass it to me to hold.

But then, lucky for him, I spotted my mom! Because her top is very very striking purple! And I saw her even though she stood pretty far in. And I didn't even see MH and Jenson when they are closer to me than my mom was!

And ta-da~ Surprise 2!!! I was so touched til I cried!! Because I totally totally didn't expect it to happen! Since there was already a celebration in the morning. *Originally I thought the celebration would be after the outing thus I wasn't prepare to have one in the morning. But after having the morning one, I didn't expect the second to take place!*

Thanks MH for planning. Thanks Sotong for being the middle(wo)man. Thanks Jenson for getting the cake and wait for such a long time! And most of all... Thanks all for being there to celebrate for me!!!


Off to grandparents' house for the weekly gathering. And celebration after that. Cookie cream ice cream cake from Swensen!!

On 21st, meet up with MH, SH, Pui, Jenson and Nich for ice cream buffet at Ion Swensen. Another round of pranking from them =.=" Firstly, Puii sms me telling me that she can't make it for the outing because last minute have to go work. Didn't really believe when I realise she didn't inform Jenson! So I told MH and Jenson that if she turn out, she pay full price instead of 1/2 price! Then MH sms two sms to say that she will OT and unable to make it. But somehow, I also don't believe it. (Tio pranked too much the day before liao~)

Puii came and said she want to go to the ladies, and I wanted to go since I stepped into Swensen liao. So obviously I tagged along la. End up, they (Puii and SH) were just giving reason to get out and meet MH. Because MH IS AT THE ENTRANCE WITH BALLOON AND LILY to surprise me. She was 'borrowing' two male waiters from the manager to pass me the balloon and lily one at a time because she xian sheng. But because I tag along, the surprise was spoiled! @.@

Anyway, went back in to enjoy our ice cream buffet. End up Nich accompany me out to go to the toilet =.= Because I scare I lose my way while finding the toilet in Ion. MH tried to salvage the surprise by asking the staff for their in-house birthday special: BD FIREHOUSE! But... It was once again foiled because when the bill came, I took it to see how much I need to pay, and MH just let me took it, when she had tried to prevent me from taking. She sian diao when I nudged her and said that I already saw it. She didn't realise because she was backfacing me all along and keep urging me to take that S$10 when SH was the one buying the bill =.="Jenson left first while the rest of us when walk walk around Somerset. Went to take Neoprints at Cineleisure as well as tried to catch some toys at level 7.

Deardear wanted to meet me and countdown with me at my house. But I told him don't have to meet since he had to work morning shift the next day. So he wished me Happy Birthday on the phone instead.

22nd: Sms-ed in to radio100.3 to say it's my birthday! And the moment I step into the overheadbridge into NYP, they started singing birthday, DEDICATED TO ME! ^^ And they even mention that my name is beautiful ^^ As in the chinese character that is use to form my name~

My dearest MFGG leaders came down to NYP just to celebrate my birthday ^^ Thanks Fel for organising! A simple lunch... As I was having a full day training that day.
Back to training, but pretty slacking. Jessie ask for a break and I went back to my own FYP lab (which is just next door). Just as I was getting myself a drink, Jessie opened the door and start to sing 'Happy Birthday' song, with SP and Ms Gan behind her. Mei Hui was there as well! Cut the reminding cake that the girls bought and shared with Ms Gan, Ms Sze, Ms Tay and Jessie.


After school, when home for dinner with family and deardear. Went AMKhub to get my present as well as a cake. Deardear sponsor! Woots~ Deardear accompany me til 1230, when I was already fast asleep!

23rd: Met LeeMei for a mini celebration. Ailian was there as well when I met LeeMei. Ailian treated me to a drink before she left to meet her ex-colleagues while Lee Mei and I went over to 313 to have our dinner. Yummilicious!Peri Peri Squid
